What is the wipe material made from?

But we know that there comes an age when babies start to explore the world around them and life can get a little messier as a result, and so a more efficient cleaning wipe is needed. Are the packaging materials for WaterWipes Textured Clean Baby Wipes recyclable?
We are on a journey to make all our packaging recyclable. Currently all our boxes are made from recycled cardboard and can be widely recycled. Our bag is made from low density polyethylene. This material is recyclable at specialised facilities. The film used to wrap our individual packs of wipes is not currently recyclable. The film we use plays a special role in keeping our wipes fresh, as it provides an airtight seal, which helps maintain the integrity of our product. At present, alternative recyclable films that have the same hermetic properties are not readily available, but we are currently trialling some options and are confident we will find a solution that protects the purity of our product and protects the environment."

Are there any allergies I should be worried about?
At WaterWipes nothing matters more to us than creating the safest and most gentle wipes for you and your baby, using pure and minimal ingredients. Skincare scientists around the world agree our wipes are safe to use on even the most sensitive skin, however, because no two individual’s skin is the same you should always check with your doctor or healthcare professional. Soapberry fruit comes from the soap nut tree. Soapberry or soap nut are the same ingredients, just with different names. Soapberry does not contain peanut or tree nut (walnut, almond, hazelnut, cashew, pistachio and brazil). Please let me assure you that WaterWipes Textured Clean are soy-free, peanut-free, nut-free and legume-free.
Are WaterWipes Textured Clean hypoallergenic?
Yes, WaterWipes Textured Cleancan be considered hypoallergenic (and are unlikely to cause a reaction in allergy-prone individuals.)
Are WaterWipes Textured Clean tested on animals / cruelty free?
WaterWipes Textured Clean have not been tested on animals at all, and have no animal by-products in them. WaterWipes Textured Clean are made from 99.9% water with a drop of Fruit (contains trace of benzalkonium chloride) and Soapberry extract.

Does Soapberry contain soap? I've read that soap is drying on the skin?
The Soapberry fruit produces a range of natural cleansers called ‘saponins’. This property helps water to dissolve dirt and remove it from surfaces so that it can be rinsed away. It is a natural cleanser that has been used for hundreds of years, but it is not as strong or aggressive as purpose-designed heavy duty synthetic soaps which can leave your skin dry. That’s why our WaterWipes Textured Clean are more effective at cleaning. They are also perfectly safe for cleaning your baby’s face and hands, as well as their bottoms as they are designed to be gentle on baby’s skin. WaterWipes Textured Clean is also certified by The Vegan Society as well as awarded the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance.

They are perfectly suitable for cleansing your babies face and hands as they are designed to be gentle on baby’s skin. Cleaning Eye Area: They are perfectly suitable for washing your babies face, including the surrounding eye area. That said, we do not recommend using them directly on the eye as this can often be a particularly sensitive area. Cleaning Pacifiers: They are perfectly suitable for cleaning pacifiers and teething toys.
